Performer Disambiguation Search
Extends every performer search/autocomplete in the Stash UI to also match the Disambiguation field, not just name and aliases.
Covers:
- The search box on the Performers page.
- The performer picker used when adding/editing performers on scenes,
galleries, images, groups, markers, and the "Performers" filter criterion
picker on any list page - since they all share the same
FindPerformersForSelectquery.
How it works
Stash's GraphQL schema already supports filtering performers by
disambiguation via PerformerFilterType - it's just that the plain search
box only ever sends a q (name/alias) search term, never a performer_filter.
This plugin loads a small script (ui.javascript) that wraps window.fetch
and rewrites outgoing FindPerformers / FindPerformersForSelect GraphQL
requests: when it sees a plain filter.q search term and no advanced filter
already set, it replaces it with a performer_filter that OR's
name / aliases / disambiguation together (all using the INCLUDES
case-insensitive partial-match modifier), e.g. searching "cyber" returns every
performer whose name, alias, or disambiguation contains "cyber" anywhere
(such as performers disambiguated as "Cyberpunk 2077").
No backend/database changes are made - this only changes what the browser sends to the existing GraphQL API.
Settings
- Minimum search length (characters) - search terms shorter than this are left as a plain name search (default: 2 if unset/0).
To turn the feature off entirely, use the plugin's own "Disable" button in Settings > Plugins (no extra "enabled" toggle is needed).
Multiple search words
A search with several space-separated words only returns performers matching
every word, where each word may be found in a different field (e.g.
"alexis 1988" matches a performer named Alexis Love disambiguated "b. 1988").
Stash's own INCLUDES modifier would OR the words together, so the plugin
splits the term into words itself and combines them with NOT/OR/EXCLUDES
(De Morgan), since a single filter node can only carry one AND/OR/NOT.
Single-word searches are a plain substring match across name, aliases and disambiguation. Quoted phrases are not treated specially: the quotes are dropped and the words are matched individually.

- Performer RefreshAdds a refresh button next to the stash-box ID on performer pages, replicating the Update Performer modal from the Performer Tagger interface.
- Scene Code SearchMakes every scene search box (Scenes page, and the scene picker on groups/markers/filters) also match the scene's Studio Code, not just title, details and path.
- Scene URL EnhancementsAdds an "Open URL in new tab" button to scene URL rows, fixes the URLs field width to match other fields, and can relocate scene URLs from the File Info tab to the Details tab.
- Stash Sense 2ML-powered performer identification and library curation -- detects faces in scenes/images/galleries, matches them against a published performer database, and surfaces library recommendations. Requires the companion Stash Sense sidecar container (github.com/AnonTester/stash-sense2).
